I’ve been working hard to finish New Comics 4 before the slew of events this fall. I can say safely that it will be printed and ready early next month. The Issue is 7 x 10”, 48 pages and contains material that I’ve been posting on tumblr lately, plus more.

Pre-orders are very much appreciated.

Get it here.

Thanks to those that have already ordered! I am hoping to fund this print run entirely with pre-orders, so if you are so inclined please help me out by buying in advance!

Patrick’s comics are always really great - definitely get on this!

These little messages that crop up now when Tumblr puts recommended blogs in your feed are really starting to get to me. I think they are meant to be cute or funny, but they almost never are in my opinion, and they make me feel like an asshole when I ‘X’ them out. I don’t dislike any of these peoples’ works, I just prefer to follow a smaller group of people. Bad form, Tumblr.

We’ve put up a handful of screenshots, posted some interviews, but how about Comique as an app? Let’s have a look now in this whirlwind video tour of Comique on iOS! In this recording you’ll see:

  • Browsing the catalog
  • Previewing comics
  • Buying comics
  • Your library

If you’d like one of your comics to be on Comique on launch day, now is a good time to start. You will be enjoying the company of some fantastic artists who already have some great comics in the works. If you’re not yet signed up, you can request an invitation at comique.co.

And heavens bless the following artists whose art I’ve been using to test our internal debug builds: Michael DeForge, Tyler Landry, Jared Morgan, Frank Santoro, Valentin Seiche, Yufrukt, Rowan Tedge and Jesse Tise.

Shaping up to be a good app - seriously gotta get a move on my comic for this!
