The Adventure of Liz by Blake A. Roten: this is a Fan Comic of Electric CandyLand, a WebComic on Tumblr, written and drawn by a fellow Cartoonist and my good friend: Jesse Tise, who was inspired by his friend Liz in real life into drawing WebComic-Liz, the first dimension you see on the top four panels is Family Guy parody universe parallel to the actual Family Guy universe, but with a Cow instead of a 6-foot giant chicken, and the second dimension on the bottom four panels is the Danny Phantom universe where I drew my DP-Fan Character: Zcott Zpectre in the 5th panel I honestly enjoyed drawing Liz in Butch Hartman’s DP anatomy, it was a lot of fun, especially when I chose to use Ink Colors to make the second dimension look more like the CG credits fight scene where all five TV jumpers are inked in color instead of the black lines that cartoonists and animators usually use in 2D animated TV shows everyday, I hope you folks like this Fan Comic, and I hope my friend Jesse still likes this in color too?

I returned to teaching at ECF Art Center a couple weeks ago, and one of my new students at the Westside location made this AMAZING tribute to Electric Candyland - Thanks Blake!!! :)
Electric Candyland will be back next Monday btw.

As a first step towards breathing a bit more life into artists.comique.co, there is now a full list of artists using the site, with their comics and links to their websites (with Tyler Landry somehow at the top, lookin’ pretty mighty!)
Anyway, there’s a whole evening’s worth of links to great comics in there. And maybe it’ll encourage you to update your profiles, artists 😏
I’ll be updating the Artists page as time goes on to better reflect the activity going on around the site. Maybe a wall/shoutbox? Little news snippets? Do you have anything you’d like to see?

Wow, cool seeing so many faces I know!
